As far back as the early 1980s, Karl Regensburger founded a commercial enterprise for special shoes for the staff at hotels and restaurants.

Inspired by extensive talks with his customers, Karl Regensburger saw the need for high quality drying and storing systems in hotels. He began to sell shoe dryers.








The heart and soul of the company, Marina Regensburger, helped to build the company from the very first moment. She is in charge of bookkeeping, accounting and purchasing.











1982

As far back as the early 1980s, Karl Regensburger founded a commercial enterprise for the sale of special shoes for staff members at hotels and restaurants.

1991

Inspired by talks with customers, Karl Regensburger sees the need as it arises for high-quality drying and storage systems in hotels. He begins by selling boot dryers.

2001

Serafin Regensburger takes over the reins from her father, establishing Regensburger Co. which apart from sales also pursues research, development, manufacture and installation of ski rooms. The company sets highest value on quality of materials used (stainless steel) and workmanship, as well as attractive and user-friendly designs.

2002

Having completed an extensive test phase, Serafin Regensburger declares the newly developed boot dryer to be ready for the marketplace. WhatÕs so special about this product is the use of platinum heating instead of the ordinary heating cable used to date. This brings measurable advantages in electricity consumption, durability and heating precision. Positive feedback regarding the new system and our planning and installation of these products at the customer site are the basis of the high reputation of Regensburger Co.

2003

The range of products now includes an electric boot dryer, hanging ski holder and the Complete Ski Holder System. As far back as the third year after the company was established, it expanded its product line to include ski room accessories such as benchseats and ski workbenches.

2004

Regensburger Co. has seven employees at this time. Due to the latest trend towards carving skis, the ski-holder systems are being adapted to new widths. The boot dryer is being introduced with connection to hot-water heating.

2005

Sales region expanded: now includes entire EU, Norway, Switzerland.

2006

Time to celebrate: Regensburger records its 3,000th customer.

2007

Regensburger brings another revolutionary product to the market: stainless steel lockers with integrated electric shoe dryers. We expand our staff to ten employees.

2008

No chance to relax on our laurels: Regensburger is developing products for utilizing ski rooms in summertime, e.g. bike stands, and adding them to the product assortment.

2009

Launch of website www.skiraum.at and introduction of the SKIRAUM.AT brand.

2010

The team at Regensburger Co. is proud of the implementation of a noble ski room at Romantikhotel Neue Krone in Lech (see references). Apart from that, the development process for lockers is launched.

2012

Our company headquarters in Pfunds, Tirol: currently being modernized and enlarged.

2013

The test phase for our powder-coated steel lockers is completed, the first products in this category are being sold. Regensburger establishes the PROFIRAUM.AT site at which special-purpose, robust and attractive furnishings for kitchen personnel, fire departments, highway construction teams and other commercial purposes are sold.

2014

New design of company logo with a new CI and new website for the brands SKIRAUM.AT and PROFIRAUM.AT.
